Oh look, someone made a classic frummie talit into a really unflattering dress.

My agony of shopping for a groomsmaid dress continues. When do I get to the ecstasy part?

This would be so much easier at home, where I could just make it myself.

Heh. Yeah, but not with klaf, right? I can't imagine how you'd write that...

Anyway, mezuzahs should stay were they belong! On, uh, men's doors! Or something. I'm bad at pretending to be anti-feminist.

With very small photocopies, I understand.

And women are obligated in mezuzah - it's one of the more startling idiocies that women have to hang the things but aren't kosher to write them.

Oh, not the same time, then. I mean, I may end up there if the one in the city doesn't have anything... but tonight, not next week.

Well, I very suddenly need to buy a dress for my sister's wedding - which is in five weeks!

See, there was this bridesmaid's dress from [info]mysticengineer's wedding, and I was all excited that it was the perfect color to use again - and then I took it to the dressmaker yesterday to see if she could add sleeves... and it's too small on me! No, not in the stomach. The top part of the zipper wouldn't zip. (Is this what i get for going to the gym?)

Anyway, I guess it's better I discovered this now, and not the day of the wedding, but still... five weeks is cutting it rather... close.

And so, after I get my teeth cleaned, off I go to David's Bridal. (At least they have one in the city now. I suppose I should be thankful for that much, at least)

And there goes my one full day of Hol Hamoed.

Oh well.
